Every time I listen to this remix I tend to escape to another planet... I feel as though im floating off with the stars... And by the middle of the track im usually lip syncing (on the bus) haha... Robyn's voice is great for dance numbers... The Tong & Spoon Wonderland remix is one that just promotes this track to greater hightes. Thanks to the Ministry of Sound Clubbers Guide to 2008 for pushing this track.

Sundays @ Fluffy:
...Global Deejays & Rozalla

After another great night out in the valley on a Sunday @ Fluffy (the Family Nightclub, and another night of discovery. It seems that everytime I hit up fluffy I come out of it with a new tune or at least a remix to hunt down. This weeks remix being the classic Everybody's Free (To Feel Good) by Rozalla. Last year the guys of Global Deejays created a new take on the 1991 smash, giving it the club bang. By the time the bass fully kicks in I can't help but get the moves out. Seriously have a listen and you try. It kinda reminds me of the the Eric Prydz club hit Proper Education.

HOOK ME TRASH

Many thanks for you patience, my day job has been very damning of late and I haven't been able to post as much as I have wanted, So a big apology if you have returned many times to the same old material. BUT I'm back, still loaded by my day job, however I have a bit of time to blog about some of the tunes I have fond over the past week.

Just Recently I have stumbled across a Tommy Trash Remix of the Veronicas hit Hook Me Up. It's very catchy and short and sweet, so if your a pop hater it won't kill you forever. The Bassline is deep as it should be and of course the high synth is present. Let loose and get a hook up.

Well, here is my interpretation of the 1999 single, Bugaboo by the now disband Destiny's Child. This track was released when DC had 4 gals and Michelle wasn't even in the band. Who knows why i called my remix "the night remix" I didn't even make a day remix, but i did make another one. Might post it some other time. I think this remix, on the other hand has come together well. I tried to make it as hard hitting and dancable as possible. So let me know if you enjoy it.

I can't help but take notice of all the great remixes coming from the tracks off Kylie Minogue's new CD X. For some strange reason she is getting remixed by EVERYONE, well not everyone, but it kinda feels like it. And these remixes are not just good, they are great! Take the In My Arms track reworked by Spitzer. It's So Damn HOT that i want to club, or at least just dance everytime I hear it. Dirty and full of breaks. Thanks Tristian over at SEXY RESULT for making me take notice of these tracks. Another addictive track is the David Guetta Remix of WOW. Very club friendly.

Okay I'm a big fan of local talent and over the past week Operator Please from the Gold Coast (Only like an hour drive from me) have been poking through the music stack... Thanks to the likes of the great REMIX. Bigstereo last posted the G.L.O.V.E.S remix of Get What You Want, and yep I'm proud to say that they are Australian too and have done a fine job of turning it into a club hit too. Meanwhile Hipster Runoff posted about the Teenagers remix of For my 2 Seconds, both songs taken from their debut album Yes Yes Vindictive, pretty good for a band that has mostly teens in it. GO AUSSIES!!!!

The Hottest Chick in France is won hands down by the cute YELLE, born Julie Budet in '83 this chick knows how to put on a good show & I got the pleasure of seeing her when she preformed at the Parklife Festival in Australia '07. Her voice is perfect for all forms of electro & is remixed to death, but still No hate can be found. I myself am taking part in the Ce Jeu remix Comp right this moment and hope I get her attention. So to celebrate Yelle'ness I thought I would post some remixes that are floating around the blogging world.

Let today be the day you discover one of the best Remixers around! Hailing from the UK its Chewy Chocolate Cookies. Now its thanks to them that i bring you this post today. They replied to an email i sent them regarding blogging about their music and after checking my email this morning I was happy to find a new remix from them awaiting blogging life! In the past CCC have remixed Justice, Robyn, Simian Mobile Disco & others more. But today the focus is on LOTO reign from Portugal and according to the CCC guys these fellas are HUGE in there native land. Their LP Beat Riot captures all things Indie/Rock/Electro & a lil POP! CCC have done over one of the tracks Back TO Disco to push once again music to another level. With a nice buildup that will have you exploding round the 1 minute mark, you really cant afford to miss this one. Electro/Rock GOODNESS all in one cookie.

ENJOY.

p.s. big thanks to the CCC guys

Now mine is a little bit older but I have tried to create a tune that is deep, bouncy and always electro... Combining most of The Cardigans Lovefool vox with Holes famous guitar riff from Celebrity Skin... tell me what you think!!

Make your Saturday dirty with German Alexander Ridha from Boys Noize with his track & Down and his Remix of Feist's My Moon My Man. Boys Noize tends to have this very heavy bass with breaky beats that make it a perfect way to start any party.

So you know the feeling when you wake up on Monday and realize that the weekend is over and you have to head back to work? Yeah I hate it too, espesically if havent slept enough and partied a lil too hard. So I decided to make it all better by adding a Mondayitis Cure spotlight which will feature an artist, similar to Saturdays just a lil bit more down tempo and chilled to help ease the morning in. 1st Up i decided to pull in Axwell, mainly because of his song It's True. Big thanks to the guys over @ Fluro kids for the Mp3. Axwell seems to have this light but still party fill to most of his tracks which you might remember from his remix of Counting down the days by the Sunfreakz... So where ever u are world, wake up play these tunes and get ready for another week, cause the weekend is closer than you think!!

A legend who has brought the best remixes to my ears these past few months and have left me addicted to clubbing.
