Back in the 90's just before the 00's The Chemical Brothers slapped this track on us. Hey Boy Hey Girl. Which became a huge #3 in the UK for 10 weeks. WOOyeah. With its addictive synth looping at the start to the guitar pounding in the chorus, HBHG is a classic that I will never forget. Even before I got hooked on the Dance genre I remember back when I was 11 getting hooked on the song. Strange I know. LOL. The filmclip is also great, with the girl growing up and still seeing skeletons her whole life, creepy. Fortunately for me, I get to see the Chemical Bros do a live set as I head to Future Music Festival at the Doomben Race Course 2moro. HECK YES!!! Will try and get some footage to post. Until then ROCK out to this classic!!!

If the plane crash never happened back in 2001, this gal would be the Queen of RnB and the world of POP that is now! A product of Missy Elliot and Timbaland, Aaliyah sporned hits that will be remembered forever. Although just at the peak of her career as things were starting to take flight worldwide the beauty was taken from us. So what did she leave us... Well her self-titled album was a start, which I believe was well before its time. Honestly if she released it today, it would still be a top seller. If you can't remember Try Again, then let me refresh your memory, ROMEO MUST DIE???

A lil while ago... circa 1998 a guy named Josh Abrahams nabbed a chick, Amiel Daemion teaming up to make the underground hit Totally Addicted To Bass. Now jump forward a few more years and you have JA re-releasing the track under a new name Puretone for distribution in the UK & USA . Then before you know it the duo scored the number 2 spot in the UK & a number 1 in the USA Dance/Club charts. So where are the 2 now? Well Josh soon after released another single, but with less success. Then helped pave Amiel's debut solo album, Audio Out which only celebrated lukewarm success to the mainstream market. Later Amiel returned to the scene in 2006 with a new EP Be Your Girl, with remixes by Bass Kleph.
